After countless days of PHP and ASP coding, domain name, registration and affiliate program research I learned a few things. I will be sharing all that I have learned and programmed to make life for the domain hunter or internet novice easier.

This site includes a selective database that lists the features of each registrar as well as the full ICANN list of registrars. You will no longer be fooled by the low cost of a domain registration and find out they charge for everything...including URL and email forwarding.

I will be providing more information on domain registrars by posting comments for each one that I have dealt with in the past. I hope you will post comments as well and help someone else avoid the bad registrars.

Other features include a code library with ASP and PHP scripts related to domains. There are more script coming as well as some VB code to run the same functions through a windows interface.

Places to buy and sell domains and other interesting links will be included. Domain names are a hot item even with the bursting of the dot com bubble you can still find people making money buying, selling and appraising domain names. Some people think appraisal is a joke and so far it is. A domain is worth what people are willing to pay for it. I will be including some information on appraising your domain name yourself if its even truly possible.

• The free domain search we had from LocalWhois was discontinued, sorry. Here is a site where you can do complex domain searches.
• Whois Search. Not just any search, checks main whois database for whois server then gets full domain listing from the registrar database. Don´t look twice for 1 domain.
• DNS LOOKUP. Checks the A (IP address) and MX (mail server) records for a domain. Also runs a whois on the IP address of the host server.
